A Poem by Cat

Cracked knuckles, hands clasped.
Passionate heart, face smacked.
Your bloody eyes into my teeth,
your fist so happy to defeat.

My open-ended lullaby,
to the youth which you devised.
Until the threat of power came,
when he did speak of my name.

Weeping cheeks that you behold,
from the anguish I foretold.
The sour kiss you finished with,
I never had someone like this.

a subject that really makes me seethe with anger---those who do this are such cowards...

your wording is excellent...especially powerful last two lines....

Thank you so much for all the reviews. I respect your opinions.
Reminds me of eminem's "love the way you lie" song. You could be a voice for battered and abused women everywhere.
