Seasons ChangeA Poem by CatBlue eyes, searching the scene, watching, knowing, not looking for me. I cross the room and get a glance, To you, I never had a chance. You look for a moment, until you remember. I'm not the same girl I was in December. Your smile fades as fast as the memories of that cold winter. Where life was dull, but I was your winner. Until Summer came and your eyes got bluer, you knew the fraud you had kept. I was never special, you just left. And just like that we became strangers, over and through, barely any changes.
