Don't Grow

Don't Grow

A Poem by Cat

The dirt between your toes,
from where God only knows.

The white atop your head,
flips from a fluffy bed.

The sweetness of your smile,
that must last awhile.

And your heart so clean,
where love is only seen.

The glitter in your eye,
where in you tell a lie.

A hopeful light of glee,
until we say goodbye.

A beautiful poem. The good description brought to life good visions and nice journey in the possibilities of love. Ending made the poem realistic. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
