and i can no longer hear your harsh words
hit me like the cold wind by the sea
as i drown you out using old song lyrics
blasting fom the headphones my brother once lent me

and i can no longer see the way you display your empty emotions
i cannot see how you used to look at me
through my old computer screen
from a weak skype connection
on 2 bars of wifi

and i can no longer trust the people i love
you broke all my barriers down
and i can no longer mean the words i say
like i used to

and you shall remain nameless
for as long as i can bear
as i cannot bring myself
to rinse myself of you
and cleanse myself from your name
