A short poem about the rain

Wake up and see Rain

Wake up and hear the Rain

Don't want to get out bed

Just want to stay in bed and listen to the Rain

Get ready and still hear the Rain

Leave and still hear and see the Rain

Go outside and get Rained

Go inside and see and hear the Rain

Leave the classroom and still see and hear the Rain

Go to the library and still hear and see the Rain

Go to get supper and still hear and see the Rain

Go to practice and still hear and see the Rain

Go back to the library and still hear and see the Rain

Leave the library and still hear and  see the Rain

Go the dorm room and still hear and see the Rain

Get a shower and still hear and see the Rain

Go to bed and still hear and see the Rain

Perfect poem to read tonight as it lightly rains here. The repetitive wording made one feel as though the rain was actually putter patting over them as they read. Well done. :)

When i read this it made me wonder, is the rain really rain, or is rain metaphor for something else. something else is bothering this guy/girl . Loved it!!!!!

yes, that it what the poet does, and then, when the sun comes out, then shines the rainbow-----could be ascribed connotation "reign" + "beau" or "bow"
