LOOK DEEP

When you look at me you see the crazy, out going, hard worker and so on

You see a person who is enjoying life

You see someone who has a bright future ahead of him

There is more to that then what meets the eyes

Look really deep into my eyes

Look really deep you will see someone that has had to struggle

Someone that things haven't not come to

Someone who has been told they there were going to be nothing

That was going to be worthless and not successful in life

Just going to be a loser and waste of space

Someone who was picked on through out their education career

That was never given a chance to be show people who they really were

A person who loved school but hated going

Look really deep and you will see something else

Too often we judge others based on our initial glace at them, not realize everyone has silent struggles. Yet, so often we don't care to take that deeper look. How much we must miss. Nice write Justin. Very raw with emotion. :)

I could tell this one came from the heart.Yeah... it's too bad that people judge other people so quickly- I'm not going to lie I have judged because we all do- but we should really get to know people before we decide if we don't like them or not you know? We all go through our own struggles and our strong in our own ways. I'm sure your strong enough to get through whatever it is you have to be strong for. You are not worthless- God may everyone for a purpose it just might take a while to realize what it is. Anyways, good job my friend.

its sad to have a miserable past..but whats important is to look forward. when we are happy, it doesnt matter what had happened in past. mind has a limited disc space..so feed it with good memories. :)

Your not a waste of space nor a loser. People need to understand that you can't judge a book by it's covers. Ignore those who do wrong by you like the bulling/teasing, they only want a reaction out of you. Don't give in to that provocation and giving them the satisfaction of believing in their petty little words that come out of their rotten snobby mouths. Your better than they are, you have people that stand right beside you, reaching out their hands for you to take. Letting you know that they want to help in every single way they can. Making you feel loved, cared for, and even needed. You have so much to offer in the world. Remember that, everyone is special and unique in their own right. :-)

This poem is wonderful! You can't tell what's inside the package by the wrapping. The part that got me most was the part about loving school but hating to go. So true and so sad. Brings back memories....and not necessarily my better ones, lol. Well done Justin!
