wedding bellsA Poem by Michelle SamsonWhen mommy no longer tolerates your ‘forever and a day’
slumbers When she strategically
keeps you with her in kitchen When she whispers culinary tips time and again When she coaxes you to ,” dress up a little more” When daddy supports mommy in the aforementioned And you see him trying to save more penny Then YOU KNOW, something is brewing in the air! It is TIME…….. Soon he will walk you down the aisle Soon, daddy ,knows, soon he will give you away Soon a “chosen daughter” will
I be And you mull over all of these, you have’nt had enough
with them you want to call up your little sister and apologise for the umpteen wrongs you want to stay back and loot your brother a little more and the mirror suavely
reveals defects unseen
oh! will things ever be the same? how would I look in his eyes? amidst these amalgam
of thoughts my heart is grooming up coyly its humming a serenade………. Hush! hush! My poor, funny heart! Oh!will things ever be the same? © 2015 Michelle SamsonReviews
