no one can tell

no one can tell

A Poem by castiel
"

its a small poem of a man wearing a mask to hide his pain

"

As i stand here no one can tell

under the smiles the laugh and jokes there is a man living through hell

the choice i made that day is soemthing that i cannot forget

my actions my words those are the things that i regret

but as i laugh and lie

about the position of my heart

i begin to wonder if i should have been honest from the start

but i know what honesty would bring

a world where i let everyone down filled with suffering

the war wages in my heart a battle that has been a plaugue for far to long

a choice to do what is right os to do what i want... what is wrong

i have to do whats right i tell myself put all my feelings away on a shelf

i have to do whats right and keep my emotions from coming to light

i stand here a man thats nothing more than a shell

wearing a mask and no one can tell

under the smiles lives a man living through hell.

This poem captures the way a lot of people feel and try to hide their feelings. I really like: "I have to do what's right, I tell myself, put all my feelings away on a shelf." I like this poem. It's simple but realistic.
