Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Cassie

The lies you spoke are nothing like the hurt you left behind,
After you were gone, I was trying to fix myself,
The words you said were nothing but another little poem that left me blind,
After they were said, I was trying to fix us.

The way you spoke to me sounded so fragile and weak,
I still can’t believe that I trusted you,
The way you slid into my brain and controlled to seek,
You still can’t believe what I have done.

Beautiful poem, I can feel the imprinted emotion you left.
