I love your poem, and especially how your use of the word "awe" captures it's original meaning, I often struggle to have students understand the original meaning of "awe" and "awesome" but you captured it here with just three short lines. I usually use an example of bats flying out of a cave to express the mixture of admiration and fear but perhaps showing a video of a murmuration will make it clearer. Thank You ;)

The blue sky is a magical realm and fills us with marvel. The starlings conquer the blue sky, flocking together. Murmuration is a very beautiful word and you put it to perfect use here. It enhanced the visual so much. Loved it, dear Chris!
