Very interesting Chris - 2 rather 'dark' senryu in regular 5-7-5. How well you conjure the inherent frustrations in these situations. Complex and resonant. Excellent ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

I do try to only post newer stuff these days Chris , mainly because my writing style has aged like me and i like to try and be myself , not what i was several years ago .... the older members here have already read my stuff in years past lol , yours is still fresh to a lot of members :)

I dig my oldies out too Stella, when I am pushed to find inspiration. My writing style has also changed. I stuck rigidly to structure at one time. Now anything goes. A bit like my expanding waist line lol

Indifference is very finely inked in so few words.
I love how the first and second stanza seem independent of each other to me, I can't connect them with each other, but I love the single line 'Revenge' which separates them.
