Graveyards In The SkyA Poem by Chris Shaw
a stampede across night’s tired face
hides moon’s lucent lunar light chariots of moving menace driven at speed by wailing winds moody and morose blotting out silver smooth unblemished skin dark smoky ghosts billowing greys dull her shimmering surface dimming her loveliness from those who are supposed to be sleeping where do they all go when they pass at haste in a race of silent chase gathering pace in the velvet dark speeding without care or attention graveyards in a murky sky my belief where clouds drive home to die © 2024 Chris ShawReviews
