Cold FeetA Poem by Chris Shaw
oh the times I have contemplated
the picnic that never was played it out in my imagination felt the breeze tickling my exposed toes in the heat of summer sun as we graced the green grass of the Derbyshire dales the invitation though was real and I am sure if i had caught the train as I planned to do my cold feet would surely have had an exquisite treat on that blanket as I feasted on you and sipped chilled chablis © 2024 Chris ShawReviews
