imagery like no other....Dear Chris, every word is so visual and stunning....love all those birds too and how you portray them....you are so lucky to live where you do....sweet memories of Blake so long ago...The end is mysterious enough to give this beauty exactly what it wished....
Warmly, B
So visual and so layered Chris. I could paint or even animate this.

Zdest Chris… we have so many Rose-tinted Sunrise mornings on the East Coast of Virginia, USA, 🇺🇸 It is lovely to wake and be among the trees outside our Observatory Windows of our Master Bedroom with a Cathedral Ceiling. It seems we have no need to Travel as we “Age” with a Poetry Site WC to read your Poems and other Poets.. as well. By our City Dock in Old Town Fredericksburg, Virginia, we see many Seagulls gather by the Rappahannock River .. when we drive across to where our first President George Washington lived as a young Boy along the River. Your Poem seems so familiar where you Abide with scenes so similar to our own. We are blessed to read your Poetry. Softly, Pat

Good to have if you can no longer travel and it delights me that you travel with the words of poets on WC. Your kind words are so uplifting this morning. Sending love across the pond to you and your love. Have a beautiful day and a huge thank you for calling on my start of day.

Recently every item was half off.. so I collected a velvet green and a velvet wine red wine dresses for the Christmas season.. they are very warm and I wear them on weekdays when I take Roger to dialysis. With my Pearls and Rings… I feel like a Christmas Tree… why not… hugs, Pat

Chris,
I should greet the sun more often. It doesn't come up before seven-thirty out here on the western edge of Central time in America. Typically, I lay there all warm in my soft bed roll over, sigh, and try hard to go back to sleep. Coffee is delicious at nine o'clock, at peace because I ain't dead yet.

It was a pleasure greeting the rising sun from a window view over the harbour. It is currently very cold here, sunless and miserable. I too am more inclined to roll over and go back to sleep :) Enjoy your morning coffee. I prefer tea. Roll on spring. Thank you for stopping by. That first cuppa always brings me back to life.
