Been there, done that. What a great Haiku very identifiable and tangible. At the same time it is psychological and metaphorical in that so many times choices in life are not clear or apparent and we sit without knowing how to act, frozen in inaction. Great write

Totally relatable. Most times I find it is not the words that go missing, more having something to write about. The ideas are like catching feathers in a strong wind. I am sure that invisible ink will gain some black colour very soon. I enjoyed the senryu, Chris.

Dear Chris,
We share this blankness of page....I've been so sick and tired lately and unable to write longer poems....Your words have the magic of brevity and it feels comforting to know I haven't been losing my mind. It just happens sometimes.

Yes, I must have purchased my pen at the same store as it has been a struggle of late.

Struggling is subjective. Struggling to find significance is more apt.

Should we "move along"? ;) Don't worry, my friend, that fickle muse that turns her back on the poet one day shows up on your doorstep later with baskets full of flowers and fruits. That's just how they operate. I enjoyed your offering.

I hate this battle between will and way. When you have the will, but the mind has its way and nothing is writ. I feel least like myself when I am not writing. Unfortunately, life takes over sometimes and inspiration seems to fly the way of the wind. Luckily, it returns home eventually. Well penned.
