Been there, done that. What a great Haiku very identifiable and tangible. At the same time it is psychological and metaphorical in that so many times choices in life are not clear or apparent and we sit without knowing how to act, frozen in inaction. Great write

But in the right light what you write is clearly in sight. Like a drawing, we visualize the finished product on the blank page with the point we make, then trace the scratches with our nib. I saw something in this ... that's not a fib!

I do wish I'd have thought to keep the invisible ink pens separate from my writing pens, but I can't even remember to put my thinking head on of a morn, so what chances do there be of that? (my worzel gummidge impersonication) 😊

Many times I find myself unable to put a pen to paper; my mind isn't ready yet; this happens often... I I like this short piece..it says a lot to all of us poets!
