when I see those green leaves turn
with the heat of desert burn all around I sense that fall hovers by the garden wall bouquets of summer please don't go your ribbons are still decked in gold and I would miss your presence here with onset thoughts of winter cold all that flora fades at night sad to witness birds in flight swans still pair on river's glass love once born is meant to last © 2022 Chris ShawFeatured Review
