This one could be read as an antidote to a stressful day's work and then a bout of evening rush hours traffic. The word pictures conjure up images of peacefulness in the mind. And, as the poem states, they are all without charge. Forget the iPhones and just go outside for a while.

your keen observations of all things nature often intrigue with an almost too damn happy for the hardened manner of my being.
this piece brings to me a moment of silence as the words chosen command to slow down once again and take the better voyage
damn you chris shaw for making me a better being as i often get too wound up in my warrior ways
a most enjoyable read, once again

i'll be around here and there. appreciate the reads and yes it does have a calming effect but there is much to be concerned about with the next episodes in the demise of our democracy as jan 6 was a failed attempt that set the ground work for another uprising. sadly we may have reached the apex of modern day democracy.
hope all is well with you and yours 'across the pond' as some would say. peace

So serene and uplifting on Nature's scale. I'm not for crowds, traffic jams and noise. I enjoy walks, hikes, swimming, camping, canoeing, sight seeing in nature, enjoying God's handiwork.
From what I see from pics, Britain has some unique and beautiful places to behold.
It takes a talent to describe all of that like yourself.

sounds like you are not into sweating through rush hour traffic, with steam rising off burning black pavement and middle finger greetings all round
I fail to understand why
still time in the day to go and find a jammed shopping mall or two

I was there enjoying nature with you. Your imagery puts us right there and, how beautiful it is. I want to dip my toes in the water and relax. I have enjoyed this read very much, Ms. Chris. Thank you!

how much we get to see for free, if we just look at our surroundings...and what beauty you see from the boat.
I just took off my shoes but have no boat upon which to dance.
