dearest Chris... our neighbors have a larger than life very ancient Magnolia tree that we admire all Summer with golden Ivory blossoms that we view from a large upstairs Window. It beckons us to pray even in the Winter when Snow falls softly on our Window pane. gently, Pat

I read so much resignation in their silent cascade. They gave up, perhaps against the harshness of nature. They were full of beauty and hope and deserved to bloom. Yet the winter did not relent. I hope it does soon, Such tender and heart-breaking words , dear Chris,

lovely & succinct, chris, that's not always easy.

This brings up in my mind someone who may have tried for a goal (someone trying to pass a test, or someone who may have tried for a job or a relationship, maybe even a sports athlete) but didn't make it. I think nature has ways of teaching us lessons if we look and think about it. No matter how cold the winter, the spring always returns.
