"at dawn the branches creaked in pain" this line really make us feel the sore..... your poem is written beautifully and reaches us with its brilliance and wisdom in a gentle way. if we wait with patience until the right time, we will shine brightly.

When one takes a moment to pause and sit in the garden, the joys of nature are out there.

This one is a spontaneous write, so maybe it simply represents a moment of beauty in nature that caught the poet's attention. These little gems are always with us if we just take the time to notice them. If there is a meaning, it might be that the dew drop was seen differently at different times of the day. In other words, don't make a judgment at first glance.

Yes, the words are illuminated from within, like the heart of their Poetess. Chris, in your flowing lines of symmetry and wondrous imagery of the Birch tree, you have captured such deep and profound meaning and metaphor. This is a tiny MasterClass write and I thank you for creating the beauty of it.

An ode to the birch tree...such nice descriptive lines and I completely agree with Divya, what a magnificent transition from sorrow' s darkness to hope's gleaming shine...the true essence of a writer.
Beautifully crafted

Thank you Sima for your uplifting comments. So encouraging to this poet.
If there is anything I would like to see right now, it is a healthy, green tree glistening in the sunlight, juggling it's droplets. It's a simple scene we take for granted, yet one of obvious beauty when we no longer have them in our sight. I could picture your tree from your words and i'll keep that picture in my mind in my current world of grey and dismay. ❤

Words can't express the sorrow I have for your current situation. Sending you ❤️🌹🙏
The transition from pain and darkness to beauty and light is spectacular! Is pain an essential part of refinement....? I think so. And there's no greater testament to it than the illuminated birch. Kudos on the captivating imagery and deeper meaning of life alluded to, so beautifully. Once again, your poetry awes and inspires, dear Chris ❤

You are so lucky to have that birch, dear Chris. Welcome always, dear friend..
Albert, my paternal grandfather introduced me to Tennyson when I was nine. I have loved poetry ever since but did not attempt writing a single piece until I was 40. It's never too late to try somethin.. more..
