A Text Too ManyA Poem by Chris Shawout of the blue from the forests of time a message was left it would be good to talk . concisely short a bullseye dart pointed and poisoned it grazed on my heart . nostalgia it carried on a cool autumn breeze i remembered how once i was brought to my knees . so what do you want from your fine Surrey garden maybe the chablis is seeking my pardon . on a warm afternoon i could easily be swayed except i recalled i was dumped and betrayed . so i chose to ignore you and didn't reply yet not without wiping a tear from each eye .
