(a little light romance)

when our lips met in breathless tender touch

as eyelids drew their blinds on bustling world

let memories of that moment's state of bliss

reside inside our minds for all of time

as butterflies chased moonbeams in night's dark

two hearts entwined like grapes grown on a vine

while stars saluted pathways edged in bright

those feet were floating six feet off the ground

the axis of the planet came adrift

all sense of time departed when we kissed

For we long to relish in this kind of moment and forget the world but two in the moment never wanting it to end. A rush comes taking over as one may have never felt before, souls touching with the sparks of the kiss. I have been here and still am with each tender to immense kiss from my hubby. Well, there are kisses and then there are kisses. The one described here seems to have triggered something like a mystical experience. You usually read about these only in romance novels (not that I read romance novels). As I recall, kismet means fate. That we all might be so fated.
