Holed By The SunA Poem by Chris Shaw
shafts of blinding brightest rays
break through disintegrating cloud to gleam upon unsettled surf bursting through blackened mass holed with a gift of future promise dusky sky stirs into spotlight action angel waterfalls pour forth liquid molten gold holds sail boats in a loose embrace for safekeeping upon choppy waters they dance to inclement weather's moody tune so small in a sea of vastness in the vastness of a huge expanse threatens ever threatening searching with a menacing eye reach out to grasp what's left light is worth all saving when darkness invades peaceful living © 2021 Chris ShawFeatured Review
