Ah yes, the cycles of nature. I was upstairs in my room the other day when I looked out my window at the gigantic deciduous trees that have been fully green since Spring. "John!" I exclaimed, "the leaves are already turning color!" It was only August 20, but I guess Autumn is coming.

We are reminded of the cycles of life and nature's heartbeat, pulsing and reverberating through our ever changing scene. It's apt that the seasons are so interchangeable at the minute, somehow echoing our own life at being out of lock down but too unseasonal to go anywhere and enjoy it. Is that a catch 22 or sods law? Hmm, my head thinky thing be hurting now 😜

We had a hail storm yesterday. Sat on the deck in the garden with my sis abd her other half and sun goes in and down comes the hail. Fortunately our deck is covered. Ta for checking in and leaving your footprint. Alwats good to get your visits.
As usual, you find beauty in nature, and here the beauty is not only in the images, but in the truth they portray. Cycles mean continuation, as opposed to the abrupt endings of the straight line. It is the surface mind that thinks linearly. The deeper mind perceives cycles.

Lovely comment Jacob. So appreciate your footprint on my page.
Hello, Christine! :)
I like your phrasing here, and how you captured the seasons in a leaf, and captured life in the seasons. Thanks for sharing.

Albert, my paternal grandfather introduced me to Tennyson when I was nine. I have loved poetry ever since but did not attempt writing a single piece until I was 40. It's never too late to try somethin.. more..
