I too have notepads everywhere. I like to give my poems an airing. Sometimes they haven:t seen the light of day for years. Out they come for an airing. I can't always remember the inspiration for them either. Thanks for visiting this senryu Tina.

Many words lay in boxes of the past, Kept away in closets for memories of the past. I have so many books of my words. This brought back words of the past for me.

i've been wanting to do one but for some reason this style does naturally flow with me. i'm too much a basket of emotions - need to be quite focused and pensive for these ... :)

You do have to concentrate hard and focus. It's not easy to be this economical. Once you've attempted a couple it gets easier :))

I love the feeling of uncovering forgotten pieces, like the one I wrote about a really boring day that ended with a penguin on a unicycle that burst into flames.
You'd think I'd have remembered that one, wouldn't ya? 😊
