I too have notepads everywhere. I like to give my poems an airing. Sometimes they haven:t seen the light of day for years. Out they come for an airing. I can't always remember the inspiration for them either. Thanks for visiting this senryu Tina.

Thank you Kerra for your encouragement.

Clever poem Chris and so relatable. The experience of trying to resuscitate an abandoned or neglected poem. Love the title and Easter reference.

Thank you so much Sherri for your visit and encouragement. All the best.

Sometimes great discoveries of forgotten writings are made as if Fate decided that certain ideas must see the light of day after all. One might think of Emily Dickinson's poems stuffed in desk drawers or the Nag Hammadi texts that were found in a cave in Egypt in the '40s. It also brings to mind the Lord of the Rings where the ring "wanted to be found." Who will "unearth" these digital archives in years to come, I wonder...

Oh, the old dusty poems of mine scream volumes for a come back. Sad thing is I think that can surpass most of ones I've written today, not all, but most. Wonderful short poem you've written. I think it will stir me to action. Tyfs

I love this....sometimes I like to go through my old poetry, tweak it a bit, and re-post it. Why not? Lydi*
