A lovely Haiku for us to read on my Eighty First birthday.
Music for our heart and soul... to be shared with my
Sweetheart and the breeze in the trees. Thank you
for sharing your inspiration.... lighting Candles one at a time... every hour...
would that take about two days ? lol. gently, Pat

Pleased you stopped by. An old Haiku, out for an airing. Thank you Falcon.

Chris

Ah, the past... How she haunts us, a child seeking attention. And we love her for it. Beautiful words, Ms. Shaw. Most evocative.

This is absolutely beautiful, and full of passion and maybe even a hint of melancholy. It’s a haunting piece, too and those are often my favorite! A brilliant haiku I’m so glad I checked out.

I loved your haiku about music, Chris. Beautifully expressed. I've noticed the connection between songs, and memories, many times too. Thanks for the poetry.
