Early morning bliss seems to have finally settled in here- a colder spring this year but bright early mornings are increasingly a welcome sight
Watching more move to the country programs, the scenery is really beautiful, little country lanes, stone walls, green fields, etc.

Your " confetti " being mentioned by others I shall ignore and go on to " early morning bliss" or, in my case " afternoon delight " as in the song.
Cos it took us ages and ages to get to the isle of White because of the petrol tanker deliveries strike. No juice at petrol stations! This was when the country was getting rid of leaded petrol.
Luckily our motor, an old Skoda, ran on both.
But, so did a lot of other cars, and leaded petrol sellers where few and far between. Leading to the other half having to walk and search, now & again. lol.
Still, I understand the " early morning bliss "
Rew.

I like the sound of your old skoda and your afternoon delight. The fuel shortages must have been more frustrating for you. I also remember the song. Thank you for giving this senryu some consideration. All the best.
Confetti is a brilliant way to describe love! I've never thought about that before, but it fits very well. A short and sweet poem capturing early morning happiness amazingly.
