Rises With The SunA Poem by Chris Shaw( Day 7 of lockdown)
sleep filled eyes wake to warmth of
rose pink glow from ceiling to walls . old sol is doing his best to create enticing hues to welcome new day . views from an angled window on third floor finds skyscape of wonder . beyond garden boundaries ripe strawberry sorbet melds to lilac . subdued baby blues embrace splashes of bold molten gold leaf . heart enchanted, gift of sight prized contentment and blessings realised
