Heart DartsA Poem by Chris Shaw(for Nicky, Sue and Jen dear friends, early departed)
where once we took tea
in a leafy green hall airy bright cheerful with ceilings of glass surrounded by buildings of floral displays, teapots and china presented with class rosemary, basil with ivy a trailing, assorted clay pots on floors with no doors why am i weeping for all that is gone for ruins now bleeding in silence i pause trees have now seeded a forest grows tall conservatories battered no people at all while only the spirits have joined me today to remind me a time clock is ticking away
