This is one of the few times I love a single haiku! Usually I feel a sense that what's been said isn't complete, I want more, but here you've nailed the crux of these short Japanese formats . . . making a statement thru imagery with a change of direction for the last line. You've done this perfectly & what you're word painting is truly delicious! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You're welcome
Mm-BOY, Chris 😋

Talk about an array of imaginings, this yummy little Haiku just about churns the butter cream into a nightlong, scrumptiously warm, confection of vividly visual scintillation … sooo many possible lovely double, triple, quadruple, etc; entendres. ; q

I think I hear you giggling again … LOL
Whatever its intent, Dear Chris, I love it! ⁓ Richard 🍃

yes sunsets and sunrises are memorizing.. :)
I love your Haiku! You're using the senses to develop your luscious words. I love the last line as that would be me, drooling over what the daylight has conjured up; nice contrast too. I'm hungry!! Nice Chris!
