A Poem by Chris Shaw

Haiku inspired by a response on one of my poems by Mr Einstein himself

a solitary bright star
signals renewed hope

Ah, the force is strong in you Chris... And thats coming from someone who has only watched the first star wars movie, and not even all the way through.
Reminds me of Earyhrise, the picture of earth taken from the moon. How that blue/green pebnle must be such a wondrous sight amongst the vast blackness.
Packs such a punch, I had to check you hadn't snuck in a few more syllables 😀

Been keeping an eye on the black holes recently and some of it is mind blowing as we 'flat earthers' see ourselves as less than primitive but are mere amoeba in the scheme (if that). This took me there as Mars landings approach again. Haiku or senryu, nice work!
