Reminds me of Earyhrise, the picture of earth taken from the moon. How that blue/green pebnle must be such a wondrous sight amongst the vast blackness.

This can also take on a religious context, Christine, as being related to the star overhead when Jesus was born, bringing some hope to the world at the time. Any light in the darkness is a symbol of hope and hope is always around if we look hard enough. I enjoy your haikus and senryus. Always perfect in form and content.

Albert, my paternal grandfather introduced me to Tennyson when I was nine. I have loved poetry ever since but did not attempt writing a single piece until I was 40. It's never too late to try somethin.. more..
