Lovely setting of a scene that screams of picnics, sun and straw boaters with deckchair striped jackets. Hope it eas strawberries and cream with a little bubbly to make it all the more memorable.
I'll just have to make do with strawberry and cream campinos and a can of tizer, huddled under a brolly as the heavens open, but we are getting a pretty spectacular lightning show at the minute. I am so getting windscreen wipers put on my kitchen windows. Got so fed up trying to look through the river running down the panes that ive dragged a chair over and opened the door to watch it.
My neighbour phoned as soon as it started and I answered with a "MUAH HA HA", took me ages to peel her off the ceiling. 😀
Don't worry, she'll get me back.
Looks to me like youre getting the hang of these high coos 😀

dear Chris... I love to see the reflection across
the River of colorful bouquets of History. Our Rappahannock River is
wide enough to paint a Rembrandt of scenes we see in reflections.

This is a haiku that captures a moment in nature. A very descriptive work, it puts us right in the scene, despite its brevity. Summer is a very good season for capturing these small jewels.

You welcome .
An amazing senryu (maybe, haiku) that highlights a river without ever mentioning water.
Outstanding imagery, poetess!
