My daughter doesn't have a grandmother or a grandfather. They were all long gone before she arrived. But I can see how this would be trying to those not able to hug their grandchildren. I can't hug mine either but they are over two thousand miles away. We only get to chat on the phone now and then. At least after this situation is resolved, hopefully, we'll all still have each other.

Thank you Jon for your visit. I hope you are OK. Keep safe. All good wishes.

Covid here, Covid there, Covid everywhere. You can't escape it. What makes this one so precious and so tragic is that it probably happened.

Very touchy. I learned what life is and how to lead life with humanity from my nanny.

Nicely expressed.

You're going for the heartstrings with this one Chris, making cynical old me all overcome with emulsion and wonderiing why my glass eye is leaking.
Both beautiful and sad, for those hearts locked on each side of the glass.

Aww, it's hard for people right now to visit one another. I can do window visits with my grandma and it just tears us both apart. I want to hug her so bad.
