Your lovely poem imparts a whisper of much-needed hope in these hard times Chris. So many of us now facing "the longest of nights"... My younger brother is just now recovering from Coronavirus, thank God. He has been battling it for two months now. It has been two months of these dark nights shared. He is in NY and I'm in Florida...an agony of nights passed. This virus is a fierce beast. But, as you beautifully describe, the sun rises anew with "healing rays" each day and the "petal pink moon" bathes us with empathy. Beautiful thoughts. Beautiful poem. Thank you.

Such a reassuring energy in this poem, Ms. Chris. Your writings are carefree and caring, a hopefully cheerful mix of the two. Thank you for uplifting worn out souls by channelling the moonlight through your beautiful imagery.
Cheers and wish you all things great.

Your first line sent shivers down my spine. I've always seen the moon as a sign of starting over . . . infinite chances to become full again. I love how you use imagery to make this point & your lunar observations are as graceful & hovering as she is! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Albert, my paternal grandfather introduced me to Tennyson when I was nine. I have loved poetry ever since but did not attempt writing a single piece until I was 40. It's never too late to try somethin.. more..
