Haikus are a perfect example of how structure can force a writer to really be precise in word choice in order to capture the moment. This is a lovely glimpse … one that immediately evoked a memory of being along the water on the Blue Ridge Parkway, watching the sun turn the water into molten gold. Beautiful!

Nature heals, that's for sure. Quite often I find myself listening to rain sounds or watching rivers (with geese) online to relax. Your poem is a great image to take in.
