Sun-kissed water is hard to beat. There aren’t many things that give me that same feeling of awe bubbling over.

The lovely thing about a river is the way you can feel that sense of primitive oneness with the natural world. If you’re in the right spot and there is more nature than human symbol.

A lovely, peaceful poem, Chris.

Never really appreciated sunrises as a young person . . . now I can luxuriate in them in person or thru this haiku.

Wonderful! A beautiful sunrise or sunset is really like a kiss from Mother Nature. I never tire of walking along the shoreline at sunrise to watch the sun appear on the horizon. Lydi**

especially love the last line...the best way to wake up...with nature breathing softly on our necks and brushing our cheek with kisses of sunlight.
