Into The LightA Poem by Chris Shaw(from the archives)
As I gaze on crystal beauty
in the noon-day blazing light, I see diamonds dance on water, their small clusters sparkle bright. How they glint on rippled river while the sun burns overhead. All the glory of earth's garden at my feet so finely spread. Keep this memory, it's so precious, lock it deep inside the mind. Shake it out in times of darkness, when despair can strike out blind. Share it with those others grieving, let it lead them to the light. Ease the hurts of sorrow bleeding, broken in the blackened night.
