"

Having a go at a cinquain inspired by Lorry and Einstein Noodle. 5 lines, syllables 2/4/6/8/2, one sentence

In flame
leaves of maple

Show off, nailing it on your first go. :)
That's why I think this format is so good, it has a visual impact on the mind instantly, no faffing about. (i totally need to say faffing more often):)
A very apt description for this time of year, almost picture postcard scene.

All my tree are naked now. Now I must rake-up and wait for Spring to come back. I do like the four seasons. Thank you Chris for sharing the amazing poetry.

Always my pleasure and you are welcome Chris.

Maples are our autumn atmosphere and still color the acres about.
But I am happy to leave the snow in your nicely done rhyme

I was noticing a sugar maple today. They are indeed beautiful trees. This poem painted a beautiful picture of the red leaves on a background of white snow. I would love to see what a skilled photographer could do with such a scene. Nice work.
