The Absent Tooth FairyA Poem by Chris Shaw(Bad tooth fairy)
Sing a song of golden coins,
poor Robbie hasn't any. The fairy shirked her duties and didn't leave a penny. For days the tooth had wobbled and given him some trouble, because it was a back one I told him he'd get double. He went to bed quite early and said that he felt sleepy. He wrapped the tooth in tissue, his face a wee bit cheeky. I'm feeling rather guilty. He seems a trifle puzzled. "What happened to the fairy?" She's feeling slightly sozzled.
