I Spy SpidersA Poem by Chris Shaw(For little ones and adults as well)
Clever Trevor spider,
how intricate your web. You worked on it with diligence as I slept in my bed. And in the morning sunlight on finest silken thread, shine tiny beaded lanterns that glint around my head. Oh creepy, sleepy spider, I love the trap you've spun. Suspended from the pergola, it won't please everyone. For hark, from out of dreamland, young Beth's within my sight and when she sees you hanging there her screams will waken night.
