A beautiful depiction of the silhouettes that capture our wonder, as well as our words. Sometimes the old sayings ring true and the best things in life are indeed free, like the screensavers that capture our gaze and wonder, calming us with the beauty of the unexpected moments old Ma nature doles out to us :)

Amazing use of description. I could see everything described in your words. The moon can make us see and believe in wonders and miracles. Thank you Christine for sharing the amazing poetry.

Not the Moonshine this old reprobate came looking for, but one that left me satiated nevertheless.
Well done.

Love that word reprobate, not used much nowadays, but it always puts a smile on my face and reminds me of one or two I have known (lol). Thank you so much, your visit truly appreciated.
I wonder how some people are able to give such a beautiful persona to such an inanimate object as a moon. It's barren, it's lifeless and thinking-as-a-mature it has no use other than being a satellite of the earth. But poems such as yours show it's potential as an epitome of beautiful...mystic beauty bearing a silhouette. I envy your eyes and your mind that are able to convey such wonderful thoughts using a dark-themed narration. Reading this poem was like experiencing a film noir, with deep and dark but mesmerizing thoughts. Please keep writing more.

such a lovely poem with a nice rhythm and rhyme, I love those moon dances the trees make, so full of ambiance, my daughter and I would sometimes turn off all the lights and eat orange cupcakes and girl talk in the dark just to have fun and enjoy them, this brings back such nice memories!
