You took there my friend, such way You have with words, I admire Your talent with description, because it's simple and beautiful the same time, reaching to our hearts with a gentle sense, Your last verse with the shade of warm wistfulness added a magical touch.

You write so much like an artist paints his/her emotions and imagination across a canvas. Tis remarkable how you've just taken me to a place and shown me what it is, shared your observation and touched on your reactions to it. Even more importantly, first line, second stanza, you' shown how you treasure the feelings left behind. To do that is such a magical skill. I've just sighed, content, Chris. Beautfiul. x

Oh Yes I can see the turbine blades turning
Lashing crimson to match the sky
Stand and take in the scene
Before the night sky darkens
Your scene is gone
Yet still the blades they turn on

Albert, my paternal grandfather introduced me to Tennyson when I was nine. I have loved poetry ever since but did not attempt writing a single piece until I was 40. It's never too late to try somethin.. more..
