Go

Go

A Poem by cassandra violet

I can't hate
the bird that once
came to me
and then flew away
just like I can't hold
onto the wind
or miss the clouds
that become rain.

Powerful expression of life's transience. It's strength is in the poem's brevity.

A little bird has had a significant influence on many of us who are conditioned to intuition.

Setting our loved ones free, and allowing ourselves to let go, is one of life's hardest lessons. All life is the art of letting go--it's a horrible, wonderful, bittersweet fact. This poem captures that element very well. Nice work

Made the words "Go". Have strength and gave vision to the word. Your words are true. Thank you for a outstanding poem.
