lonely

lonely

A Poem by cassandra violet

The night is so lonely at 3 o’clock in the morning

The moon howls but it cannot hear me

The stars glow but they cannot see me

And my heart moans but it cannot feel me

Which is probably for the best

Because there is a restless energy

That is overwhelming

and its growing inside of me.

All you know at 3am is "I am alone"
The most terrible , desolate feeling
on earth.
I hope you never go through it atgain.

Excellent poem, I especially loved the fourth line. It is that kind of pain that could keep everyone up at night assuming all of us have it. Great poem, I like how you explain that the stress is growing, and that itself foreshadows even more sleepless nights. Great job!

3am in the morning. The mind can over think many things. I like the description of the moon and the stars. A very good ending to a excellent poem.
