Into the WavesA Poem by cassandra violetI came to a shore shivering as the sea poured over my feet I felt the waves become me yet as I glanced behind back at the cracked pavement of the road the scratched mountain cliffs the falling petals the browning leaves my heart began to sink drowning in the tide of the colored memories but when I saw the sun set upon the bay and brush the waves with the hues my heart held onto I knew that it was time to plunge into the water and so I jumped, never looking back letting my heart tango with the end of the day savoring the taste of the dance. © 2011 cassandra violetReviews
