To That One

To That One

A Poem by Casper Dumass Lecroix

A fake smile can hide a million tears

but how do I stop the feeling of a billion years

passing by without seeing your face?

Of naive ignorant faith

in a love that was off beat and out of pace

My fake smile is like real bial in the images I see in the mirror

and I hate the feeling defacing my lips

A pain worst than any lash from any whip

The sting worst than any gnash from any trip

and fall could cause when I hit the floor

but after a while i just doesn't hurt anymore.

and then I take a second to resurrect it

the sharing straws the movies we saw, horrible teen movie momments

kisses in hugs sex and love momments

but the momment was over in only a second

the look in my eye, stripping my pride, stopping my stride

and keeping me pathetic with a but why expression as you walked away

and by and by I begin to realize that it just wosn't meant to be

and now I'm back to being despicable me, dick dastardly, chasing penelope on this wacky race called life

I miss you so but it was time to go

And even though we felt so low there is an all time high that we will reach

I still love you, hard to believe but it's true

it was just time for me and you to be through and I wish it wasnt but it was

I hurt you hurt me hurt we hurt the hurt has got to go

True story. When in a relationship there is no one gives and the other recieves, there is no I love you completely without a doubt and you only love me so much. When the people in the relationship don't love each other the same way the relationship then has an expiration date, and ignoring that date will make the relationship end sour. My first love was my worst hurt but I no longer hate what she loved or the thing that remind me of her, but I hurt because I can't tell her about all the tears I shed and all the nightmares I had and about all the love that I have for her that I can't get rid of even though we were awful for each other, so on this site and behind this mask I put my feelings on the matter.

Lovely. Love can be an oh so tricky thing, painful yet beautiful.
