Untangling Rapture

Untangling Rapture

A Poem by Killah Cam

I'm just gonna think about this a moment,
Try to combine my thoughts to make really sense.

Colder is the sun as winter Blooms,

Without you only my thought I can consume,

       Beyond this tertiary,

       Beyond this falling,

       I find something new,

       You are my hearts calling.

Give me some more time to sort out these pieces,
To put them together to form correct releases,

       With out you I'm nothing,

Just a speck flowing through this wind that is the earth,

But being alone isn't my destiny,

       No,

For with you I am everything,

       And I can be anything,

And I am who I'm supposed to be.

I'm in this rapture, which is my heart,
I'm trying to untangle the cords,
But I don't know where to start.

       Why do you run?

Why am I nothing to you?

Why do I keep calling your name?

When everything’s just going to stay the same?

Maybe the truth is that you aren't supposed to be my dancer,
Your not here to be the peddle on my flower,
You’re not here to be my end and my start,
You’re not ever going to fill my empty heart.

With you I am nothing.

To me you are everything,

I have this bond to you that won't break free,

But If I can't break free from you,

How will I ever see?

If there’s love for someone else,

Hidden inside of me?
