A Beat Of The Drum...

A beat of the drum, is like the rhythm of my soul,
It beats at a rate that only you can control,
With ever moment that pass’s, the rhythm switches it’s course,
Without a second to change it, only my thoughts can remorse.
As I find my self here, and there I know that you could lead my anywhere.
My soul beats out, and it speaks out, but only you can bring it out,
And you are the path I follow and still my heart is left cold, black and hollow.
